Known Problems

The following problems are know to exist in Rhapsody:

• The BSD 4.4 csh shell provided with Rhapsody does not support Emacs or vi-style command-line editing. Refer to the csh(1) manual page to find out about command completion and the editing options available.
  
  
• Don't use /private or anything in /private as an NFS mount point because clonehdrs strips /private from paths. If you are mounting a local file system, either mount into the root directory or somewhere else not in /private. If you must mount into /private, make a symbolic link, for example:

  ln -s /private/mnt1 /mnt1

  Most items in /private have a link to them from somewhere else.
  
  

• Commands in the Adobe transcript package used to access PostScript printers are not part of the Developer Release. These commands include enscript, ps4014, ps630, psplot, pslpr, psnup, pstrott, ptroff, pscomm, and psdman. To format and print nroff documents, use the command groff -Tps.
